CTM is a specialist company with a dedicated team of 10 employees; our core business focus is to aid the production of polyurethane foam, elastomer and epoxy resin through the supply of process equipment for both the UK and international markets.

With 18 years of experience in business, CTM have both the knowledge and sector insight into all PU processes, enabling our technical department to maximise machine efficiency while producing components of the highest quality, which has lead to CTM being the market leader for PU foam, elastomer and epoxy equipment supplies in the UK. 

Working in partnership

CTM is able to provide the highest level of quality and service to through a partnership network with Cannon, the largest PU machine manufacturer globally with a keen focus on research and development, which enables us to keep up-to-date with the latest in process developments. We also act as the UK agent for Polytec EMC who focuses their activities in hot elastomer processing, enabling CTM to deliver to a wider PU sector.

In addition to acting as an agent, CTM has an active self build side of its business. We assemble special custom design machinery to suit the individual needs of our customers, from ‘one off’s’ through to batch builds, focusing mainly upon elastomer and epoxy processing equipment. All machinery is designed and assembled ‘in-house’ by our designated team whose expertise is available on-hand to answer any enquiry. CTM can also provide a full range of support packages from training through to annual and interim servicing, and our links with professionals in the chemical and tool moulding industries can aid the production process from inception to completion.

CTM’s 2/3 component epoxy metering technologies

CTM has gained good experience in processing epoxy technologies. The machines featured below fully demonstrate our skill in 2 and 3 component epoxy processing.

The CTM epoxy metering unit below left is designed for 3 components including fillers and a foaming agent and produces epoxy foam.

The CTM epoxy metering unit below right is designed for a 2 component epoxy system with 4 colours which are delivered from a dedicated 4 colour injection system.

Both units feature full time ‘closed loop’ flow and ratio control.

The CTM metering unit featured here represents the highest level of G.S.P.U. technology available on the market today. Full time closed loop mass flow control and data capture are standard features.

Our partner Polytec EMC delivers real experience in the hot elastomer sector, Polytec provide CTM with a range of high quality metering equipment designed for processing elastomers that are solid at room temperature. 

CTM’s ‘on site’ support and replacement parts service

CTM provides on site support for either planned maintenance or quick response breakdown assistance.

New and service exchange P.U. metering pumps

Our service support includes new metering pumps and metering pump repairs.

CTM supply a wide range of magnetic coupling conversion kits for both low and high pressure pumps for P.U. machines. CTM’s Magnetic Drive Couplings are well proven and completely eliminate the need for repeated maintenance to the pump shaft seals.
