The Cannon TRIO mixing head has been designed for high-output RRIM applications, filled Polyurethanes and highly-reactive Polyurea formulations.
The experience gained by Cannon in the mixing field, combined with intensive research in fluids dynamics, resulted in the design of a three-stream, high-pressure mixing head with the following characteristics:-

• Special carbon steel body, fitted with a self-cleaning piston to switch chemical flow into the mixing chamber on and off. Three component injection nozzles, positioned at 120º to each other. Chemical recycling in the mixhead by means of grooves machined in the piston. Optimized mixing capability for a higher polymer quality. High commutation speed. Great repeatability in the operation of the head piston.
• Simple maintenance, due to only three metal parts and a few seals.
